ALBT September 2026 is Full
The September 2026 Assessment-Led Bodywork Training intake is now fully subscribed.
Another group of therapists will begin their ALBT training this September, learning a more structured, assessment-led way to identify what is really driving a client’s dysfunction.
For me, seeing another cohort fill is a strong sign that more therapists are looking beyond protocol-based treatment.
They want greater clarity around:
what to treat
why they are treating it
whether it actually changed
And as ALBT continues to grow, I want the training to develop beyond the initial 10-day diploma.
That starts this November.
A New Opportunity for ALBT Graduates
For the first time, I am opening a small number of places for qualified ALBT practitioners to come back and join the new cohort for revision days.
20–21 November 2026
£125 per day Attend one day or both
Limited to 6 graduate places per day
Venue
Bretford Village HallBrandon RoadBretford, RugbyCV23 0JZ
These days are not simply about repeating the course.
They are a chance to revisit the work with the benefit of real clinical experience behind you.
If you have been using ALBT in practice, you will almost certainly have questions.
Bring them with you.
We can look at:
assessment findings you are unsure about
difficult or unusual cases
areas of the assessment process you want to refine
techniques you want to revisit
clinical reasoning around the Principal Restriction
how ALBT is translating into your day-to-day practice
It is also a chance to refresh the assessments, revisit the techniques and sharpen your clinical reasoning.
And for the new cohort, having practising ALBT therapists in the room gives them something valuable too:
the opportunity to learn alongside therapists who are already using ALBT in real clinics.
I hope this becomes an important part of the ALBT community going forward.

Who is ALBT for?
ALBT is designed for qualified bodyworkers who want to move beyond simply treating where the client hurts.
It gives therapists a structured way to identify what may actually be driving the problem.
Stop chasing symptoms. Start identifying what’s really driving the problem.
Assessment tells you what matters.ALBT techniques give you the tools to change it. Reassessment confirms whether it worked.
The diploma is suitable for qualified:
